    Course Overview:

    This course allows one to understand how cultures helped to shape the world that is seen today.

    Course highlights:

    This course focused on how studying the development of Western Cultures, we are able to learn how our cultures and values have emerged from previous cultures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take this course seriously and study the material thoroughly because EVERYTHING will be on the exams and there is not much time given to complete the exams.

    I love this class because it showcases human creativity and thought.

    Course highlights:

    I have learned a lot about what people believed about themselves and the world around them.

    Course Overview:

    I loved this class. Learning about how Western Culture came to be was fascinating. I thought I was pretty good at history, but this class taught me more than I thought.

    Course highlights:

    Learning about how Greek Influence affects our culture even now was an eye opener. Not just in literature but in art, drama and even architecture.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    READ THE BOOK! You have to read to be able pass this class, however, I have found that reading was easy reading. I think that is because we have been somewhat exposed to much of this.
