Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I HIGHLY recommend this course to any student studying computer science! Dr. Poole is an amazing teacher who cares more about her students than any other teacher. Aside from being generous, Dr. Poole is very understanding and will go to any length to help a struggling student. The information taught in this class comes straight from the book, but is demonstrated clearly through classroom interactions. Weekly homework assignments ensures that the students thoroughly understand the information being taught. Although exams are worth a lot of points, study guides are made available as well as a handmade "cheat sheet" of information that may be too difficult to remember.
The highlight of this course is the Semester Project. This project is broken down into three phases. Groups are assigned so that project responsibilities are not completely reliant on one individual. This project requires students to fully comprehend the information taught in class and apply it to a real world situation.

Advice for students:
In order to succeed in this class, students must be attentive in class. If questions arise and information is unclear, be sure to seek clarity from the instructor before moving on. Disregarding these situations will make the course very difficult as the information taught builds on itself.
