    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because students can start their education with a good understanding of Biology.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course, in my opinion, is the hands-on labs we performed that taught the lesson using our knowledge and peer help.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My tip to other students would be to go over their notes outside of class to make sure they understand the material. Just listening to the professor will confuse you because there is a lot of information you will learn. It would be easy to fall behind if you do not study.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was simple if you attended all of the lectures and labs and listened. Not a lot of outside coursewrok was required. The hardest thing was taking the tests, but if you listened to all of the lectures you should be good.

    Course highlights:

The lab portion was fun! Most of the lab portion focuses on putting your lecture knowledge into action. Try to really dig deep into what you are doing and think.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to all classes! especially lab because you will not be allowed to make them up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommended this course because you get to learn the basics of biology. You start off learning about the different parts of a cell. Then, like other courses, it becomes more challenging as you go in more depth about the material. The teacher makes sure you understand by drawing demonstrations and examples on the black boards. He also asks review questions so that you have an idea about what is going to be on the test.

    Course highlights:

Through this course, I have been taught the basics of biology. At times the class became difficult, but I worked through and got my perquisite finished for my degree. Now I am one step closer to becoming a dental hygienist. The highlight of the course was being able to realize that I need to change my study habits from high school to ensure my success in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice to the students who decide to take this class is to make sure that they study the material outside of school too. They can take notes before the class starts and as the teacher talks about the subject you can add small side notes to your previous notes. This will make taking test much easier and you will have a better understanding of the material.
