    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Jordan coursework was thorough and skill enhancing. I felt she provide a complete list of tasks to ensure our (the students) learning of all course objectives. Her quizzes and exams where focused on skills building and concept understanding. I enjoyed her class and would not hesitate to take another Computer Information Science course with her. Well done, Professor Jordan. BW

    Course highlights:

I reinforced my understanding of general Internet protocols and network usage. The lab work provided hands-on work environments for the CIS student learning HTML5 and C. Her use of the discussion board allowed us (the students) to explore the Internet, Site development and digital networking concepts, terms and IEEE802.3 standards for Web-safe content on the World Wide Web. BW

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Commit to scheduled lab and homework time. And practice in the computer lab, resource room or library. The use of the computer concepts will improve a students understanding of the digital environment common on the Internet. This understanding enhances the students ability to use diverse user interfaces available via a browser on the World Wide Web. BW
