    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Learning Latin was one of the more difficult tasks of my undergraduate degree. There was a lot of memorization and application; however, the basis of Latin that is taught in this course is what will give you success in future courses. Stick with it, even when it feels like you're doing terribly. You will get it.

    Course highlights:

My classmates all became very close as we all struggled to master the basics.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make friends. Study together. Don't look at your translations; know the words--always read from the Latin.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Worsham is really kind and enthusiastic- that being said she's young and doesn't always realize that the pace can be really fast.

    Course highlights:

The course is absolutely necessary before taking other Latin courses, sometimes even if you've taken high school Latin.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You absolutely cannot cram. Practice and do all of the homework, only take if you intend on taking more classics or Latin. The entire course is based on participation.
