    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Class went very fast, a lot of information in a short period of time, communication with Professor lack- luster, not available for phone conversation/explaining assignment, and hours of operation not conducive for feedback. Professor was not clear and precise.

    Course highlights:

I learned about research and APA method when citing. I cannot say I learned as much as I wanted because I really did not get the understanding and help I needed. I learned to rely on my textbook, writing center, and tutoring in order to maintain in class. This class was restrictive when it came to freedom of ideas and writing, so it was very stressful.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Learn APA style, make sure you hold your Professor accountable for how/what they want when it comes to assignments, have them explain to you the assignment if you do not understand; no question is invalid. Make sure you use all resources. Call your chair and/ or academic when you run into trouble. Do not give up!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English is a hard subject, but you should not be intimidated by it. The more you write, the better you will become.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me how to be comfortable with my writing and pushed me to improve my skills. This class will teach you how to be patient and learn how to piece an awesome paper over the course of a few weeks.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fear to ask your teacher for help. If you struggle with the English writing, don't be too harsh on yourself. A great teacher will explain your mistakes and teach you ways to avoid them.
