    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

English is a hard subject, but you should not be intimidated by it. The more you write, the better you will become.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me how to be comfortable with my writing and pushed me to improve my skills. This class will teach you how to be patient and learn how to piece an awesome paper over the course of a few weeks.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not fear to ask your teacher for help. If you struggle with the English writing, don't be too harsh on yourself. A great teacher will explain your mistakes and teach you ways to avoid them.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

. I may not have received the most impressive grade in this class, but in it I learned a lot about my field of study, which is psychology with an emphasis in addiction. I had to do a lot of research in this class, most of which was related to addiction. I got to learn so much about addiction. I learned about different treatment options, about the causes and effects of addiction, information about recovery, and much more. When I think of Composition 1, I think of writing. In this case, writing was only the beginning. This class opened my mind to so many different aspects of addiction, different views, opinions, and facts, most of which I had never been aware of until now. It was a great course, and I learned much more than just writing skills. This course teaches tools that can be used throughout someone’s entire college career and helps prepare them for writing in upcoming classes. It’s an excellent class to get students started.

    Course highlights:

For me, the biggest highlights to this course included how much I was able to take in, how much I actually learned and grew from this course, and all the research I could do based on my field of study (Psychology with an emphasis in Addiction). I learned new methods, skills, and many other things; I got to generate my own ideas and turn to my peers for feedback. I was given constructive criticism, and as a result, I was able to strengthen my writing skills. This course has made me feel much more confident in my work.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell the students considering this course to take it. It is not an easy class, but it is a good one, and if you pay attention, you can truly learn a lot. This course offers tools and skills for writing that you can take with you, and use, throughout the entirety of your academic endeavors
