    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This course is the basis for psychology. It focuses on all the DSM-5 conditions and criteria which is vital for any Psychologist. Learning how to tell the difference between disorders like Bi-polar and Borderline Personality Disorder which are very close in symptoms.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights are the case studies. As a Psychologist your whole life will be case studies. You will listen to peoples symptoms and diagnose them, then you will treat them based on what they have. You learn the different methods/tools for diagnoses and treatments. You will learn how to create a treatment plan.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    You cannot half this class, it will take your full concentration and abilities. The course load is heavy so be prepared to spend time working on this class.
