Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this course! It is not only educational but very fun as well. The professor is great and personable, she always makes sure that you have the best understanding and will go above and beyond to help you understand.

    Course highlights:

I really gained a lot of skills from this course that I will be using often in my field of study. With phlebotomy, we learned about: blood draws, tubes, veins, needles, techniques, types of tests, order of draw for multiple tests and so much more! I wish I would've known before this course that there was going to be a lot of reading to do, so I could get ahead.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Read your chapters and procedures and study your order of draw. It is important to know which color tube comes first when using the ETS system to collect multiple samples for different tests, so make sure you study well and know what each color means and in what order they are do be drawn!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I love this course and this school! The professors really care about the education of the students and it is at a very good pace.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how to draw blood from different veins, how the heart works, how to interact with different patients; elderly, infant, etc.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to read your chapters and do the work! Definitely study well for your tests and always put in your best work. Don't copy from other people because then you won't learn.
