    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Everyone has a story to tell. Professor Grisham has an intuitive knack with getting you to tell your story in a very clear and concise manner. She's given me great tools to enhance the quality of my writing. I know these lessons will go far beyond my college career.

    Course highlights:

I came away with exposure to authors and pieces I would not have come across had I not taken this course. I also achieved a new appreciation for E.B. White after reading his short essay, "One More to the Lake". Overall, I learned to be fearless when writing my personal truth. That's where the work is unforced, authentic, and memorable.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Time Management. Organize your day. Plan ample study time. Read the necessary assignments with conviction and purpose. And write with fearlessness.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I personally, thoroughly enjoy writing and learning how to better my writing and this course teaches you exactly how to do so.

    Course highlights:

By taking this course I learned valuable information like, how to put a paper in MLA format, how to revise my peers writing, and correct grammar and punctuation skills. All of which is needed in my future career path, which made it very helpful in my other courses.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you pay close attention in class, simply because missing the smallest bit of information could hurt your grade worse than you imagined. Also, study and research whatever you don't understand (after first asking your professor any questions, of course).
