    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

As a dancer, my body is my art and learning about my body is very valuable. In anatomy, you learn the purpose of every part of your body. Parts of your body that you did not know had a big impact on your daily life, and parts of your body that you knew existed. Gaining more of an understanding of your body will help you in daily life. For example, if your arm hurts you will know which bone is in and you can figure out the cause of the injury quicker.

    Course highlights:

I learned that time management is very crucial when you know that you have to understand multiple materials.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Anatomy is a class that is very heavy in memorizing, but it is not all memorizing. You have to study all of the information given for each body part and it will help you understand the material when you have lab. It is best to study with a group because there are many ways to know the purpose of a body part and your peers might have a better way of understanding the material.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Only take this course if you plan on going into the medical field. You must definitely have to put in many hours to pass this class, and most of the learning will take place at home studying.

    Course highlights:

I gained a basic knowledge of human anatomy, however the course covers very extensive anatomy.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study! Do not get behind, make study guides, and do any extra credit.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor was excellent and truly seems to enjoy the subject that she teaches, just expect a heavy workload and no shortage of memorization, especially in the summer.

    Course highlights:

It was very interesting learning the muscles and bones of the body, their names and purposes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do not procrastinate. You will regret it when it comes time for the tests. Also, note that the lecture and the lab follow two different timelines, so make sure to study for both when you have overlapping quizzes or tests.
