Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. Not only is professor laporte the best but the course if fun and it's interesting. We had dance parties and brought in good when studying culture in the class.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to get over the fear of talking infront of peers. Most projects in the class were groups and most had to be presented.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You do have to read and make sure you keep up but the course is so interesting that you won't get lost.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would most definitely recommend this course to anyone that what's a better understanding about themselves, and also anyone who would like to open your mind to a world of lies.

    Course highlights:

In all seriousness not a day went by—literally not a day went by that I didn't learn something or my perception was completely altered. Because of this class I no longer am ignorant and also am socially active. If I had to pick one activity that was the best it would be the extra credit. For extra credit she encouraged us to go out and do community service and write about the different experiences. This is truely an amazing class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Come in with an open mind and take notes because the notes she gives us are the keys to passing test. Test in this class are really a major weight and you only get three chances. She does give homework but she does it to where the due date is the end of the year, so I recommend you pace yourself.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although a challenging course, the subject is quite thought provoking and applicable to real world scenarios.

    Course highlights:

Aside from dense knowledge of basic sociology, this class is strict in demanding thoughtful answers, strict deadlines, and complex essays.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read everything you get, and don't be afraid to ask questions.
