Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course challenged you on how to think creatively with the chosen materials given to you.

    Course highlights:

I was able to put patterns and shapes together to create a whole new piece that was both eye catching and appealing. This class taught me to see the symbolism that each object can take on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I suggest you know the different materials that need to be used and how to use them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was fun as we got to do both on paper as well as digital work. We worked with Photoshop the last few weeks of the course and went over the basics. It was fun to also be able to do work on paper as well. Even if you prefer paper or digital, you get to do both in this class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were getting to work with many mediums; like calligraphy, chalk, pencil, photoshop, and acrylic. I learned how to do some cool things with calligraphy that I didn't know you could do. I also learned how to place items in an art piece better. You will learn the rules of thirds and the rules of fifth which will help greatly when doing an art piece or photography.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

One thing of advice I would give is that when you do assignments or projects, focus on the placement of things. This course focuses more on placement rather than your artistic skill. I do recommend to try your best with every project and assignment, but the points on each one are more for placement. Another thing of advice is that projects have higher scoring than assignments. Try the best you can on both, but the assignment scores aren't as big as the project scores.
