Not too easy. Not too difficult.

I loved dissecting the sheep eye and the mink. The photoreceptors and the lens in the sheep eye were amazing!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You must have a love for health science. Be prepared for lots of memorization of bones, muscles, hormones, and organ functions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course really opened my eyes to the complexity and intelligent structure of the human body. Each facet of the body performs an important rule and it was amazing getting to study how each worked to make our body a system.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of anatomy was dissections! I loved getting to dissect the mink in particular because the organs were very big and easy to examine. I loved all the labs because it made what we were studying in lectures way more clear and appealed to me because I am a visual learner. This course took us through all of the body's systems. We went in depth on prenatal development near the end of the course and I really enjoyed that. I learned so much, more than i would have learned in an advanced biology class! I have no regrets in taking this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest that anyone interested in taking this course have an intense love and passion for health sciences. Also, having previously taking biology really helped me transition into anatomy. I would also suggest that students read all given assignments because my teacher did not explain everything in the lectures. Study every diagram because if you are a visual learner like me, this saved me!
