Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took it as a dual credit at my high school. It was difficult, but it was pushing me to my ultimate best. Essays are constant and it's a bit overwhelming, but when I turned them in early for him to look over, it was much much easier and I had more insight with my teacher's help.

    Course highlights:

We read The Scarlet Letter and Uncle Tom's Cabin. The Scarlet Letter was my favorite out of the two, and we had discussions where we would talk about how demonic Pearl really was. I learned how to write better and that sometimes our views on ideas really do matter when it comes to writing papers.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid to go to your professor for help. They are there to help you, not to bring you down.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very fair and helpful in his grading. He offered advise and even opportunity to improve and re-submit if needed.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about APA format, which has been my nemesis from the beginning. I also learned that I was doing it all wrong...and none of my other professors graded on that

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

do the readings and take your time on the weekly tests those are easy grades because they are open book.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I learned more and am able to apply more of the gained information in this one semester then in all my other English courses combined.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different writing styles including description. I also learned about grammar and most of my grammar questions were cleared up through this course.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say do all the reading and reflections because even though the point value is small those points add up in the long run and their are sometimes reading quizzes. Also, get your essays peer edited or go to the writing center for help because essays are sometimes graded tough.
