    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a prerequisite for BSN program. It also is a great learning resourse for families who live with genetic diseases, the healthcare providers who help them, and the researchers who develop new tests and treatments.

    Course highlights:

I learned about Genes and Genomes, levels of Genetics and Genomics, Cell division and death. The debate was great concerning Stem cells and cloning. I liked learning about gene mutation, spontaneous mutations, how DNA sequence affect the likelihood of mutations, and DNA in every thing we see.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students that take this course to apply themselves to their studies, get excited about the challenge of learning and digging deeper into new research and developments of science. Communicate with your instructors and classmates. Establish a study group if needed, but definitely implement a study schedule and stick too it! You can do it!
