Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it. Professor Black was thorough in her explanations of most concepts. For example, I have studied grammar for a few years, but the rules never stuck with me. But when Professor Black taught each component of grammar one-by-one and then made sure everyone understood it, I finally understood everything previous teachers tried to teach.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the grammar and the advancement of writing skills. As mentioned above, my knowledge of grammar and how to apply it expanded tremendously. Professor Black had her students write a reflection of the past weekend without using forms of "be". The assignment was intimidating, but we all did it. I can say that the sophistication level of my writing greatly increased with the assignments and lessons.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed, students need to allocate time for completing assignments. Completing assignments in intervals leading up to the due date will help a lot. There are quite a few reading assignments. I recommend reading these with intention and critical thinking.
