    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this one online because you get to do all of your labs in the comfort of your own home and use your surroundings to grow your needed cultures, so neat!

    Course highlights:

I learned by collecting and growing my own cultures how disgusting our own environment is!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you make time for your labs and be organized.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was such a fascinating course, learning about so many different microorganisms and the patho to go along with them. The lab associated with it was interesting and a little concerning I must say. My dad was not too keen on knowing the results of my swabs.

    Course highlights:

Learning about and culturing my own biota was very fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take the time to ensure sterile technique and also to incubate your samples.
