    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor goes into A LOT of detail, going beyond the textbook even. Tests are extremely challenging, class averages consistently around 40%. The class is much more doable with other professors.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about synthesis. This professor is very adamant on not just teaching but applying information. He also adds in interesting facts about molecules, which is nice.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say pay attention to lecture; DO NOT miss lecture. Go over the notes and the practice in detail and ask about anything you don't understand ahead of time. Lots of background knowledge he expects you to know so be thorough! Cramming is a big mistake for this class. Stay on top of the work and you should be ok.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a very fair professor. Tests can be tricky at times but he does it to ensure that the information is understood.

    Course highlights:

As long as you go to class, pay attention, and do the homework you will be fine.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

He gives a quiz every class (except on test days)and he drops a test, 2 quizzes, and one homework. Also every test was curved.
