    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Sociology is interesting to begin with, but Professor DelDebbio really makes it interesting. She teaches the class in a way that makes you actually interested in current social issues.

    Course highlights:

I thoroughly enjoyed the discussions we had in class and all of the different viewpoints. I learned about many different social issues and I am now able to speak on these issues without ignorance.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just make sure you go to class and complete all of the assignments. She doesn't use blackboard but as long as you complete the assignments and participate in class, you'll do great.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course helped me with views I had on certain topics, although some of the lessons taught are sensitive such as religion, relationship and sexual orientation it does discuss issues that can be applied to real life situations. I recommend this course to students who are looking for a bit of a challenge in readings and wanting to discuss issues that we as a society are facing today.

    Course highlights:

This course left me wanting to learn more. It helped increase my understand of myself and the world around me. I learned the natural behaviors between people and how we all differ in ways of communication, love and patience!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

When considering this course keep in mind that this is a bit challenging but worth it, if you are passionate about human behavior and love this is the course for you! Being patient and learning about others can be very helpful when in this course. Always keep an open mind and share your thoughts always!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Sociology to anybody who wants to take a deeper look into the social issues throughout history and where we are today as a Society. Even if you believe you know it all about whats happened with our Society and the issues that have taken place, this course helps open up your mind and gives you new perspectives.

    Course highlights:

I've gained the insight to always keep an open mind towards any race, social group, or culture. Sitting in a Sociology class is more than just reading a powerpoint or watching a video. Its a sense of unity when everybody is learning about the good and the bad of our current society.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep an open mind and get involved in discussions and the assignments. When you get rid of judgement and stereotypes you grow to realize how important and similar we all are as a society. The more you get involved and the passion you have for others, the more this class will change your life and insight on who we are as people.
