    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

For those who love to do hands on chemistry work alone, it would be a good course. If you prefer a classroom environment with lab partners to help you when you get stuck, this is not the class for you.

    Course highlights:

There weren't any highlights in this course due to the fact that it was an online course, which for a science class with a lab component, is not at all easy. I definitely learned a lot from this course. I observed many amazing chemical reactions and learned how to calculate multiple types of equations.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Although I got a very good grade in this course, I highly recommend you take this class on campus. Chemistry is a great class, but it is the kind that requires a teacher's lectures, hand on labs with partners, and a classroom and lab setting. If I was not struggling to fit this class in my schedule, I would definitely prefer to take it on campus. The online version is extremely hard and requires hours of dedication per day and per week.

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because I feel like it has taught me a lot about time management. It is challenging, but it pushes you to learn the information in a way that (I feel) is easier than the classroom setting because you decide when to do what work.

    Course highlights:

The highlights had to be the experiments. It took some getting used to because I had to read through the instructions a few times to make sure I didn't miss any steps. It was nice because we had a class discussion board for anyone with questions about the labs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ready to really devote time to this class. Time management is absolutely key here.
