    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I found this professor to be very difficult. It took me a long time to be able to apply my learning style to his teaching. He required a lot of text book reading and used very not straightforward forms of note taking. My friend and I were making 300+ Flashcards per test straight from his notes and were still barely receiving C's and sometimes B's. Very frustrating.

    Course highlights:

Anatomy is a very interesting class. The content of this class is awesome. If you did well in the first part of anatomy, you will definitely enjoy (and know what to expect) with the second part.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Use the online program that comes with the textbook! Prior to this class I had never used Wiley and the Pearson program before. After struggling with receiving B and C's I decided to just give it a try, and sure enough on my next test I received an A. I myself am a visual learner, and these programs really helped me learn the material in a visual interactive way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Great course to take if you are interested in any medical profession. It's challenging and will test your ability to recall important information.

    Course highlights:

I loved doing the lab portion of the course, especially when I was able to handle different specimens. My favorite subject was the brain, it's a very fascinating and intricate organ.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you spend at least 3 hours a day studying. Make plenty of flash cards and diagrams. If you don't do well studying by yourself, create a study group that meets a couple times a week.
