Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although it is fast-paced, the class is very well organized and easy to follow. The lectures are informative and the instructor is very helpful. For a summer course, it is very easy to approach.

    Course highlights:

This course prepares you for the health field. Basic anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology is introduced. The fundamental concepts that will be further investigated are taught, preparing students for upper level classes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should be prepared to invest time in the faster paced, eight week course. There are four exams, and pop-quizzes. In addition, there are practicals (exams) for labs. Material is covered quickly, and readings should be done regularly to keep up.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor is passionate about anatomy; and her enthusiasm can rub off on you. She was excellent at answering students' questions.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was the lab. I learned an amazing amount about the human body.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to study, study, study. Also, when given the opportunity to ask questions in class, do. You have probably heard this many times, but the only dumb questions are the ones you fail to ask.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It was required for my major but I really liked the instructor who took the time to really teach difficult material.

    Course highlights:

You cover all of human anatomy and I learned so much. You will do lots of labeling and memorization. The other part is thinking through biological processes that are tricky.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Fill out the study guides and go to open labs to practice labeling.
