Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would easily recommend this course just because of the simplicity of it. ERAU makes the course simple and well organized to learn the material fairly simple. I wouldn't recommend the instructor Carol Hannahs though! Make sure you never take a course with her. If you do, well you've been warned.

    Course highlights:

I gained another advantage in what I need to know with math related to Aviation. Math in aviation is much different than traditional math and the information shared in this course will help you understand what you need for the next courses that talk about propulsion, aerodynamics, etc..

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Like I stated previously, just make sure if you take this course online or an eagle vision course to not have Carol Hannahs as your instructor because you will thoroughly regret ever having those 9 weeks taken away from you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The mymathlab that comes with the textbook is a great tool for completing the class. If you enjoy doing derivatives then this is an enjoyable class. The only thing is that i am doing it online so you are teaching yourself, but there are plenty of online students to bounce ideas off of to make the coursework easier. It is a requirement for my degree but it isn't overwhelming.

    Course highlights:

I figured out how to figure out the derivatives which could help if i wanted to create my own graph for performance with my aircraft. The homework is in mymathlab and they will work you through a similar problem in detail as many times needed to make a 100 on the homework.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a graphing calculator for sure. If you are not sure how to use it watch some youtube videos.
