    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I learnt a lot about marketing and real world applications of marketing outside of business, such as information warfare, which is more applicable to my military career. Also, the marketing simulation was fun.

    Course highlights:

The marketing simulation was definitely the highlight. We got to practice and apply what we learned in class in a simulated competition between classmates by designing our own products, advertisements, and company based on a target population. Each week we got feedback on how highly our product, advertisements, and profit was coming along and that of our competitors in each of the three market segments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the required assignments and enjoy the simulation. As far as being competitive in the simulation, I adopted a "Wal-Mart" tactic that was pretty effective against my peers (I ended up with 35% of the total market share for myself). I owned one segment, saw the feedback on the companies owning the other two segments, copied their designs, reduced the price, got the profit.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was an excellent course, taught well and very interactive. I felt free to share my ideas and open myself up to other classmates thoughts.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was the professor's happy attitude, he was always warm and excited to teach the material and made it fun to learn. He was also very understanding most times to emergency situations of students and was willing to work everyone no matter the situation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just come on time and feel free to share and really get into the class, you'll likely love it even with the homework assignments being due each week.
