    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is a great college math refresher. Mr. Alexander is patient, knowledgeable and present math very well. This course is presented through ERAU's Eadgle Vision and My math Lab as a hybrid-web based program.

    Course highlights:

Dusting the cobwebs off my very dusty math skills with some new approaches to learning math.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study and practice the exercises. If, and when, you need help make certain to ask. Help is available!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is important to relearn much of high school Algebra. If you find it difficult to remember the theorems and equations, this course is great practice for them. You may need to do extra practice through your class textbook but much of it is easy and simple.

    Course highlights:

I was able to practice algebra fundamentals enough to feel confident in moving to the next level. Any questions I had we were able to ask our classmates through weekly discussion groups.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, you will need to understand the definitions of terms. When you solve a problem, you’ll need to know how to solve it step by step and be able to explain it through words. This will help in the group discussions.

MATH 106 is a great refresher to prepare students for the more challenging math classes coming later in the curriculum.

    Course highlights:

I learned more complex algebra, quadratic equations, linear equations, complex and imaginary numbers.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This class uses My Math Lab for homework, quizzes and exams. I recommend using the Study Plan feature to target your study and improve on areas where you need improvement.
