Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I have highly recommend this course, especially with this professor. He truly cares about the well-being of his students. You will learn about how you write in his class. You learn more about how to improve your writing habits than about grammar.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me how to see problems in my writing and taught me how to solve them. This course has encouraged me to be a better writer, and has strengthened my love for good literature.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have a problem or do not understand something, talk to the professor as soon as possible. If you put off asking a question you will just continue to get confused. Also, try to come to class early, it shows your professor that you are a student dedicated to learning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course and this specific professor to any incoming freshman. Both of these things helps a student develop into a better student and writer.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I am not such a bad writer if I applied myself. He is an excellent professor and pushes his students to do the best they can. His lectures are broken down into something that everyone can relate to. He discusses things that are going on in the world, which opens up the mind to everything going on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

His course and this class is not too difficult or too easy. To be successful there will have to be effort given. Meeting with your professor is the best way to get an A and to build a relationship. EIU professors are here to help us become more successful.
