Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

To begin I always struggled through high school when it came to biology. Within the first few days I loved being in my biology class because the Professor showed a passion for the material and didn't let a student fall behind and I personally found myself enjoying the early morning class because it was so fascinating of what she taught to us.

    Course highlights:

I found to be the best of the class was the labs and DNA lab was really interesting to learn about. She broke the lab down into table groups so we could all get familiar with one another and learn the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're looking for an interesting science class to kick off the year I highly recommend taking biology as there's so much to learn about the world we live in and especially ourselves being human and the little things that make us.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class goes over the basics of biology, but goes into more depth than usual.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different cell mutations, and much more. We also participate in some really cool labs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Re-read your notes every day to lock them in your mind. Go to lectures every time! You do not want to miss a lab day, it will kill your grade.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would always recommend general biology at the college level to students. Biology allows people to get their questions about life, our bodies, or our planet in general answered.

    Course highlights:

Taking this course I learned the basic principle of biology. From cellular reproduction all the way to the biomes of this earth. The highlight of this course were the labs performed during a specific lab section, they reinforced what was learned during the lecture. As well as, gave kinetic and visual learners a better way to apply the lesson.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course I recommend going to every lecture and keeping up with the notes in the note packet. Although, the text book is not used in the course reading through the current chapter of the week in the text book before the lecture will help with retaining key points.
