    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It gives you more in depth information beyond high school knowledge of DNA, and mutations, and etc.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the human genome, more information about DNA, what test you can take to find out your DNA, and where you originate from. The many mutations that occur on chromosomes, why someone is a certain way; for example alcoholism, because its a mutation on a chromosome that happens to be present, Dr. Mendel, we learned alot!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, pay attention, get help if you need it and you will be fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

To begin I always struggled through high school when it came to biology. Within the first few days I loved being in my biology class because the Professor showed a passion for the material and didn't let a student fall behind and I personally found myself enjoying the early morning class because it was so fascinating of what she taught to us.

    Course highlights:

I found to be the best of the class was the labs and DNA lab was really interesting to learn about. She broke the lab down into table groups so we could all get familiar with one another and learn the material.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you're looking for an interesting science class to kick off the year I highly recommend taking biology as there's so much to learn about the world we live in and especially ourselves being human and the little things that make us.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class goes over the basics of biology, but goes into more depth than usual.

    Course highlights:

I learned about different cell mutations, and much more. We also participate in some really cool labs.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Re-read your notes every day to lock them in your mind. Go to lectures every time! You do not want to miss a lab day, it will kill your grade.
