    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

My professor was great! She did a good job of letting us be creative and she really went in depth of how to use proper painting techniques.

    Course highlights:

I liked that in a lot of the projects there weren't to many limitations so you were allowed to let your imagination take over. It was interesting to see what everyone came up with.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely take this teacher. She is extremely helpful and can always stay after class if you have any questions.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend Color and Design Theory. The class allowed me to be creative with my art work using paint to display monochromatic color, analogous color, etc. Learning the color wheel and how colors affect our everyday lives is essential when being in fashion or any other creative arts field.

    Course highlights:

I came into this course worried and self conscious on how I had no idea how to paint like an artist. By the end of this course, I can say it was my favorite class not only due to my supportive teacher, but also how it pushed myself to be creative in ways I didn't ever think of. I definitely have an even deeper appreciation of art now.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to not overthink the projects. Whether or not you're an artist, give it your all. The purpose is to display colors and create a message, not to be the next Picasso because like me, were not all creative in that way. Also, although it may seem like it's just an art class, do not procrastinate and save your work for the night before. Even the most simplest projects took me from 3-5 hours.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Its a fun class that you'll have to take as it is a General Studies class. This is true at least for those who don't have college credits. Every week you'll be given a project and you get to take it home as homework and submit it the next week. Most projects took me at least 4 hours, just because I pay attention to every little detail, but I see some of my friends wing it and do them in between classes (doesnt work most of the time)

    Course highlights:

You're going to learn about Color schemes like achromatic, comolementary, etc. Also, you'll get to touch on elements and principles in every project you will do.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework before the day you'll have that class you dont have to feel pressure before the class starts
