Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a course about general psychology, and it totally open my eyes and understanding why people act the way they do! It helped me not to generalize people so much, but to have more compassion on others that are sometimes different due to the circumstances of their growing up years or physical attributes of the brain.

    Course highlights:

Some of the highlights of this course was learning about what motivates people, and how emotions are closely tied to motivational processes. Learning about sleep and the brain activity during the different stages of sleep, along with sleep disorders was also fascinating. My favorite was learning about Developmental Psychology and how people change over their life span.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to work hard, and to keep up with all of your assignments! It was a lot of memorization of new terms, physiologists and their school of studies, and different types of psychology. Be willing read the study guide that comes along with the text book, as a lot of the questions on the exam were from there.
