Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class. While she is not an easy teacher, if you put forth your best effort, she will make sure that you succeed in her class. I think she really prepared me for the rigor of English 102.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the class, in my opinion, was the narrative essay you write in the beginning of the class. I really enjoyed having the opportunity to tell a story and not be held back by many guidelines. The biggest thing I learned in this class is that less is more; it's better to write a short detailed piece than a long overly wordy piece.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't come into this class thinking that because you did well in high school you'll get an A in this class. It is completely different in terms of rigor and that's okay; you're here to learn, so take all the knowledge they give and grow with it.
