    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend taking this course with Ms. Blackwell because there is a lot of information that is revisited at a more mature level than learned in high school. I can definitely say that Ms.Blackwell introduced new information on the most important topics that teenagers should be aware of today (i.e. Contraception, Sexually Transmitted Diseases).

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the module on Psychological Health. I am a Psychology major aspiring to become a Criminal Psychologist, so it is important that I learn and understand how mental health ties into human behavior being that my career requires me to be able to make evaluations as to what the accused’s motive, intent, and thought process may have been. The topic of psychological help is underrated; many people often forget that it is just as important as your physical health. You cannot be a stable, functioning adult if you do not take care of your mind first!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, completing every study guide is definitely necessary. Ms. Blackwell offers extra credit points towards tests for completed study guides and will also help you figure out answers to any lingering questions if you visit her during office hours. Making a Quizlet with all the terms will help as well.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, because the teacher does a good job at getting students to talk about health issues going on around the world.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of the course are the inclass discussions, along with out of class assignments. At the end of the semester a final group project is required to proceed the class. I learned about current health issues and how the impact they are having on young adults around the world.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Get involved, and don't be afraid to express your opinion and keep an open mind. Exposure to different opinions and views, helps you develop your own view of the life you choose to live.
