    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course if you want to peruse any career in health or science. It will diffidently prepare you for what is to come.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me a lot about college courses overall. I learned that it is not like high school. It is going to require a lot more of your time, if you want to pass the class.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Taking this course I not going to be easy. It is important to communicate with the professor when you need help. You also will need to join a study group.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Waddell does the bare minimum when it comes to professing. She really urges you to be an independent student and look more in depth to the information she shares on your own. It's good because your more likely to retain the knowledge, but not good if you're a dependent student.

    Course highlights:

Chemistry is like a lot of other science courses, you learn something early on the "easy" way, get good at it, then have to learn a different way of doing it later on. Calculus matters!!! You'll use it here especially in kinetics. Everything builds off of what you learn before so pay attention.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study in spurts, don't try to take all the info in at one time because you want to RETAIN it long term. Also if you are having issues YOUTUBE is your friend. Some of my professors have recommended people on YouTube and khan academy because of how well they break things down.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Darby is an exceptional professor. She goes beyond the call of duty to help her students. When it comes to chemistry, she knows it like that back of her hand and she encourages her students to do the same. She helped me bring my grade up in class by spending extra time with me on understanding content. Dr. Darby is truly the model professor.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course was working in the lab with our own personal unknown. It was very different from first semester to have to depend on only yourself to follow the procedures and get the correct results from the experiments. I learned quickly to always ASK before you ACT!

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give to students is to STUDY! It is very important that on the very first day you study all the material that was learned in lecture and in lab. Always go to the teacher's office hours whenever you need help or guidance within anything for the class. Also, go to every class. It is very easy to miss important information because each day something new is taught.
