Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am usually a student who lacks interest in English courses. Either the material is overplayed or the class is just not structured well. Taking this course changed my view of English courses. The structure of this course ws different from other English courses that I had previously taken in high school. The topics were more relevant and up-to-date. This meant that I could write about and relate to topics resulting in better papers. This class also encouraged working with others which helped with social skills.

    Course highlights:

The projects were the highlight of this course. Students were allowed to choose their own topics to write about. Because of this, the topics were more interesting and the class had better discussions about the topics chosen. I learned a lot in this course relating to who I am as a writer. I learned that I actually liked writing more than I thought I did, and that I am especially fond of writing poetry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering this course to not be afraid to get involved in the class and to voice opinions. Everything is up for discussion.
