    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is fun, logical, and if you love math, calculus is an adventure you'd want to take! This course has helped me grow as a student and a math-lover, and I maintain my over-100-percent score!

    Course highlights:

I loved learning and practicing derivatives and integration. Going back and forth between the two procedures is great because it makes sense. It is so rewarding and fulfilling when you get the right answer.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely pay close attention, and practice the problems many times. Study and attend office hours, this course is very challenging for some.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor Rivera is excited to teach math and understands that not everyone taking a math course is pursuing a math degree. As a result, he does an excellent job teaching the course from a relatable perspective. He also gives adequate and fair opportunities to improve your grade throughout the course if you can show that you understand the material.

    Course highlights:

MyMathLab is a very helpful tool if you learn how to use its features properly. Lots of examples that walk you through each homework example, and the step-by-step videos were especially helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You absolutely have to spend time studying outside of class to do well, especially if you don't particularly feel confident with your math skills. And go to class! Attendance is not only mandatory for his class, but it makes a world of difference in your success on tests.
