Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Math 151/Calculus 1 is a very essential course to take for those pursuing STEM majors. I often refer to what I've learned in this course in my other courses as a lot of what is taught in this class teaches skills that are used in physics, enginnering, and sciences. This class was also beneficial because it provided the basics that I will need for higer math courses.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were the constant references to algebra, but also the fact that a lot of the basics of calculus were taught. I took AP Calculus my senior year of high school, but taking Calculus 1 in college the preceeding year was wirth it because the class served to be a good refresher before continuing on to Calculus 2.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If considering this course, it is definitely worth taking it, even if previously taken in high school. The course really teaches the fundementals of Calculus and is a good refresher before enrolling in Calculus 2.
