Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The sweet southern professor, she was great. She made the class a friendly environment and made sure that any question that came up was answered to our understanding. Always giving us real life scenarios that we could all relate to.

    Course highlights:

Some things that I am still working on in everyday life is being stern when needed. When we went over this in the class (not letting people walk all over you) I didn't think this was something people actually did until I had it happen to me in the work place. There is a way to be honest and stern while also being tactful.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Set time aside to read the course readings. They are very detailed and after a long day it sometimes took me a few times reading it before I could really put myself in the situation. Sandwich Blitz is what all of the reading course material is. Be prepared, you will get hungry reading these! It was nice focusing on the ongoing situation of one business, there was no jumping around to different business managers and employees.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because if you are already working in management or planning to, this class offers a lot of helpful tips.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about managing in this course than I have on the job. I took this class only as an elective, but it became so much more for me. This course helped me understand my job and the way decisions are made by upper management. If you are currently working as a manager or looking to be promoted to manager, this is a good class to take.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all the reading. This class will be very easy if you read before the assignments. Once you finish the reading the discussion and assignments will be effortless.
