    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although slightly more strict than other professors I've had, professor King was very knowledgeable in accounting having many years of experience making it easier for me to get a glimpse in the life of an accountant. She was able to help explain topics in a way I could understand if I was having trouble. I recommend reading the first weeks chapter before the first seminar and so on because if I didn't I felt lost and like the seminar was pointless. So do the reading first get ahead if you can as soon as you begin classes. That actually goes for any of Kaplans online courses.

    Course highlights:

We went through our textbook in an odd way switching from for example, chapter one to chapter ten. However, professor King knew what she was doing by introducing the topics in a better light. I learned about all of the different financial statements and how to debut or credit accounts and what type of account each is. From this class I feel alot more confident in my ability to do hands on accounting as I am much more knowledgeable of the terms used and a general idea of how to keep everything organized and balanced.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read your textbook early if you can read first two weeks chapters before the first seminar that way next week you have a good understanding and can proceed to read the next chapter as well. Do not fall behind in any class it's much easier to do a small amount of work each day than to rush doing everything in one day.
