    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to students so that they can learn how mathematics affects the world around them. Survey of mathematics exposes us to the breadth of mathematics and the different problems and applications.

    Course highlights:

I learned the different concepts of math, developed skills, problem solving and analysis. I was able to utilize precise mathematical language and symbols to effectively communicate mathematics in written form.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to take their time and read course materials, ask questions, do practice problems and study.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. The professor is very knowledgeable.

    Course highlights:

The course is still in process. However, so far the highlight is the algebra. I love algebra so it's like a review for me. something new that I did learn though, has been subsets. I don't remember learning that in high school.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If you follow the course outline, and get all of your work in on time, you should do well. Don't be afraid to ask questions. The professor is really nice.

I was terrified of any math courses, but the professor and videos made it super easy to follow!

    Course highlights:

My confidence in my math skills went through the roof. I realized that after 20 years, I remembered more than I thought from high school.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch the videos and examples. Do the problems as they do.
