Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Family Law is something we have all experienced either directly or vicariously. Prof. Atkins is a great teacher and this course really gives you an understanding of how the system works and why it doesn't always give the outcome people want. The best interest of the child is weighed so differently and how divorce works into that is very fragile.
The hardest part of any Family Court issue are the children and it was hard to see why the court did what they did at times. Taking this course and seeing it for the position the court/judge sees it from really helped to gain an understanding of not only their power, but their limitations.

Advice for students:
Do the course work and read the chapters. The assignments are not too difficult but are detailed and there are laws that need to be followed.
