Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course for anyone taking health science, this course gave me some insight and understanding of medical terminology. I was afraid of this course and thought it was going to be hard for me. However, as Professor Benton stated, repetition is the key. I remember him say if he checked our study guide it should be completed and that will help us not only pass the course, but we will retain the information.

    Course highlights:

In this course I learned how medical terminology and to break the word down into parts to get the understanding. The highlight for me was being able to decipher word parts an pertain the meanings. Example: esophag/o/duoden/ectomy you have the word root/combining vowel/word root/suffix which means excision of the esophagus and small intestine.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice that I would give is to study and complete all assignments, repetition is the key.
