    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a challenging course but very interesting. The Professor was very strict but I think that help to learn the materials with a deeper understanding. The use of critical thinking skills was a necessity for this course. Most of the course you were studying different cases and strategically planning based on issues with these companies.

    Course highlights:

In all businesses action plans are the way to achieving goals and objectives in a year or less. All action plans need to have a definite time frame. Creating action plans to incorporate generic and grand strategies are used to build competitive advantage. This course used different cases to show how to form action plans and strategies to build competitive advantages in business.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Take the time to understand the cases and the skills you have learned to evaluate the course materials for all assignments. It is important to start each assignment with an action plan then work out generic strategies before looking at long-term strategies.
