    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class is very easy to get help with. This is because the professor gives you his personal phone number so you may call him with any questions you have. If you are stuck on an assignment, this really helps. You never have to wait on an email response, and can get your help immediately. He is very nice, and always has a great way of breaking down the assignment if you don't understand something.

    Course highlights:

You learn about the reimbursement side of health care and the importance of correct coding and billing practices to both the facility and the patient. You gain insight into the various types of health insurance plans, and also study compliance as it relates to reimbursement.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I feel would be helpful is that if you have a question do not be afraid to ask it. If you are absolutely lost, just ask for help. It's much easier to get help in school, rather than to go into the work force completely lost. Also many of the quiz questions are directly from your reading. Don't skip it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

An intense course. Learned a lot. Put a lot of time into it to do well.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about health insurance reimbursement methods than I ever thought I would. I knew it was complex before the course. Now I know how complex it truly is and why it is so complex.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Jump into the course with both feet. There is a lot to learn, but my professor was good at analagies which helped a great deal. She was willing to help and wanted everyone to succeed.
