Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It opened my eyes to things that I did not know before. The instructor was extremely helpful with every question that I had and was patient when I did not seem to understand.

    Course highlights:

I have never been a fan of biology but I learned a lot about different diseases like Type 2 diabetes. This is not just a disease for older people. Someone can actually have this from birth.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to map out a plan so you do not fall behind. Also put yourself in a place to be successful. Do not allow things to distract you or let you fall behind.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommended this course because Professor Torres-Roman makes biology interesting. I was never a fan of science to begin with. She keeps the class engaged and I feel a learned a lot from her.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were infectious diseases, cancers, immune/lymphatic system, tissue types, etc. For example, I learned about the Four Tissue Types of the Human Body and how the body is a complex structure. The human body is comprised of only four basic tissues: epithelial, connective, muscular, and nervous tissues.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to the seminars because you learn and understand more of the topic than alone.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Holly Painter requires you to come to her weekly seminar. The seminar is very informative and helps you complete the course work for that week.

    Course highlights:

Biology there is a lot to learn. We have learned about the ecosystem as well as the cells so far. There are a lot of information to understand, read, and comprehend.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you read the materials. You will have a lot of research to do, so even though this is a 5 hour class, you will need to make the time to understand everything.
