    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This class gives the most overall view of what nutrition science is about and if very informative

    Course highlights:

    I have learned what nutrients are needed for children with special health needs. I also learned about all different types of growth charts and where to find them as well as, BMI calculators and how to plan meals for all sorts of children and adults.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be ready to do a lot of reading and take lots of notes. Notes will be helpful. Also take special notice of all the different websites they talk about. Attend all the seminars because it helps with quizzes. Attend the discussion board often, there is a lot of advice and other points of view that will help you later.

    Course Overview:

    I did have to dedicate a lot of time to my studies and discussion but I still pulled through with an A- and the course kept interest.

    Course highlights:

    The instructor was engaging and kept the course work on track and interesting.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study as much as you can. The instructor is willing to help you as much as possible if you put forth the effort.

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    I love this course. It separates the age groups to look more intently to what they each need.

    Course highlights:

    My favorite was learning what adults should be consuming when it comes to the nutrients. As well as what the nutrients do for the body.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take 1 week at a time. The instructor is great at explaining until everyone understands. Definitely take the reading into consideration.
