I love this course. It separates the age groups to look more intently to what they each need.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this class to students studying nutrition. It is very important to be able to distinguish the nutritional requirement from one life cycle to another.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were how our nutritional needs differ from when we are just babies to when we are in our golden years. The course taught us that each cycle of our lives requires different nutritional needs and how we can accommodate them. An elderly man would not require the same calories and macro-nutrients as a 25 year old male athlete.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This is an essential class to be successful as a nutrition professional. We, as professionals, will need to give recommendations to clients or patients on nutrition to keep them disease and illness free. Knowing nutritional requirements for different life cycles will be essential in order to be successful in helping people of every age group.
