    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because I loved learning about my own grammar skills and was able to progress throughout this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write essays more efficiently. This is the first class I learned how to do an APA style format in a paper and learned so much from my professor and other students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To take it! Taking this class I learned so much and would take it over again if I could.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Larsen is a wonderful person and she loves to teach. However, I would not recommend this class to somebody who struggles with English. Her teaching style is confusing and she is not clear on her grading requirements. She doesn't accept any late work and often changes her mind on what she wants you to write your essays about. I was able to get a good grade because I was constantly communicating with her.

    Course highlights:

I loved the reading in the course. We discussed some very interesting business books and had plenty of opportunities to participate.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course, you must communicate with the teacher. You cannot plan on turning something in late because she absolutely will not accept it unless you have an incredibly good excuse or you had talked to her beforehand.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is very valuable for developing skills as a writer, in a very generic but professional sense. It was a great resource to me for all of the papers and business presentations I have had to do since.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed the group projects and the opportunities to increase my understanding of basic English. I loved the research papers because it taught me how to create a paper on any subject with credibility.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be Prepared to write a lot! You will want to rewrite and edit your papers several times before you submit them. Use your peers to review your work!
