Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bussey's style of teaching was not too complicated and was very quick to adjust to. The lecture were set to make students take notes while understanding the concepts being taught.

    Course highlights:

Discussion section in which we had group presentations were the highlights of the class. This is due to the fact that students were allowed to teach others in their own style.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go ahead and take the course but be prepared to put in work if you expect a good result. Make use of Office hours as well as study sessions with TAs and take every extra credit opportunity you are offered.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Crowell, while a nice person, is not a good professor. During lecture, he emphasizes unimportant details that will not help you in any way on exams, which he ends up making ridiculously difficult. He overcomplicates what should otherwise be a very straightforward chemistry class.

    Course highlights:

Unfortunately, the highlight of the course was when I finished it. I feel as though I was not adequately prepared for Chem 6B.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT TAKE IT WITH CROWELL! Honestly, take the class in a different quarter if he is your only option.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took chemistry as a GE requirement, so I wouldn't normally take it, but Dr. Bussey was a great professor. He was very open and had many resources for getting ahead in the class.

    Course highlights:

Basic chemistry through more intricate things such as bond angles in molecular compounds.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, and study a lot. He has resources, so use them!
