    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Gen. Chem is the foundation to many disciplines in the STEM field.

    Course highlights:

This was the first time I truly struggled w/ a course. I learned to work harder. (see more below)

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My biggest advice is to start ahead & early. Don't wait until the last minute to study for a test, and make sure you apply yourself from the beginning of a general chemistry quarter or sequence, because this knowledge is foundational & your performance in harder chapters will depend on your foundation in earlier chapters.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Wonderful teacher, learned a lot about general chemistry and did very many titration labs.

    Course highlights:

Simple and straightforward. There are no curveballs in this class except for a group project about your own topic. Related to chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Never had to study, everything was basically the clicker questions and titration labs.
