Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I am not one to attend parties but if I was it would be the village. Its a great time to meet new people and get away from stress of college. There are many cameras and the people on campus are really kind and make you feel like family, which makes you feel safe.

    Course highlights:

Mostly depends which college you are located in, except for parking, they are overly strict and love handing out tickets.UCSD is an academically geared college so sports aren't as important compared to other colleges.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It's extremely hard to get through to the office, usually it takes an office visit, but it usually doesn't help much anyways. There are many choices close to campus, however it depends when you apply since availability and prices go up fast.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In terms of academia, UC San Diego is well below what it should be. Most of my teachers have been disengaged and not up to par to teach a large quantity of students. In my experience thus far the teachers have problems teaching the curriculum.

    Course highlights:

There are innumerable internship and research opportunities unmatched except by Ivy League schools.there have only been opportunities to take general education requirements for my specific college which is Revelle.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The facilities that are displayed most to the public are in outstanding appearance while the residence halls in some colleges are dismal and reminiscent of a prison block. But where UC San Diego does shine is through.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The student center is always bustling and has a variety of food options as well, as well as spaces to study. As any other university would have it, there is a strict, enforced academic policy about cheating and such that is agreeable.

    Course highlights:

A lot of diversity--sexual orientation, religion, ethnic background, economic background, etc.It depends on where you live on-campus. Most people tend to live in cramped triples with socially awkward suite mates.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The financial aid office is very helpful unlike most other schools and I got all the aid I needed, and then some left over. Many people drink in their rooms and don't go to parties when drinking. I've encountered a great deal many of students.
