    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This general education course was not useful to any of my future studies and was very tedious.

    Course highlights:

I learned that memorizing the periodic table is all you really need to succeed in this course

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

spend lots of time memorizing useless facts

    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor certainly knows the subject material well so he is able to be very thorough and teach it in a way that makes the material understandable.

    Course highlights:

Since it is the first class in the general chemistry series, it was a very great way to lead into the more difficult chemistry classes offered at UCSD.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some background information in chemistry is required. The class does move quite fast so it is important to stay on top of the material and coursework.
