    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it is fairly simple and EXTREMELY interesting. There's no homework except for reading. BUT don't let that discourage you. Personally I don't enjoy reading for fun, except when I'm intrigued and the stuff you learn here is definitely intriguing. The pages you have to read aren't even a lot so please give this class a try it's a good one.

    Course highlights:

The main highlight of this class was actually finding something I enjoy doing and learning here in college. I'm was an econ major coming into this school but made a blind switch to cog sci and I don't regret it. As of right now I'm learning about sleep and the effects of not sleeping, such as obesity, diabetes, Alzheimer's, and how sleep can help. We're also getting into how we use our brain and what each hemisphere does. The greatest part about Cogs sci in general and this class is that it's interdisciplinary. In another cogs class I'm learning how to make websites and code! And if you don't like coding, you can have a specialization and focus more on what you do like about it. Cogs 1 takes insight from computer science, linguistics, and many other disciplines.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class and do t he easy readings. That's it. Easy :)
